Why Healthcare Reform Will Fail

The fact is, as a Super minority party, the Republicans are all in against the president. They need defectors from the Democratic party. They have 6 Blue Dogs.

The problem has always been non-partisan. The present congress is corrupt. These aren't the grassroots' elect. They ran campaigns heavily subsidized by the biggest corporations and industries.

Proponents can scream at congressional aides until the phone lines go down, these politicians are not frightened by voters. They were and are irrelevant to the interests that financed their rise to power. There is a financial relationship between the blue Dogs and the health insurance companies -- a friendship.

This is not the forecast I desire. This is merely my read of the tea leaves.
Sides were taken before Obama was sworn in as President. Sides were purchased long before that. Congress, as it exists presently, is simply too corrupt to be swayed by grassroots efforts.
